Use the “one in, two out” rule to get rid of clutter.

Leo Babauta, author of the organizational blog: zen habits, compiled a list of 15 fabulous tips for decluttering. Among them is the “one in, two out” rule…

The rule: whenever you bring in an item, you have to throw away two other items. First you cheat, by throwing out two pieces of paper, but soon you will have to move to big stuff.

This should really come in handy as I attempt to keep the floor of my kiddos’ play room at least somewhat visible! Enjoy:
