Q: Did you have a problem with any of your kids taking to cow’s milk? I have been trying for more than 2 weeks and he just hates it! He won’t even hardly take 3 sips before he’s throwing it down on the floor. I told my doctor about it (this was when i just started trying it) and he didn’t seem overly concerned. He just said to try an ounce at a time every day until he drank it and then go up to 2 oz, then 3 etc. Well, what do you do when they won’t even drink an ounce?

A: My kids have done okay with the transfer to cow’s milk, so I’m not sure what the answer is there. My friend’s baby didn’t like milk, so she gave her yogurt smoothie drinks (the kind they make for kiddos). She seemed to think that her daughter would take it better than regular milk because of the sweet flavor of the smoothie. I think she finally got her to drink milk by mixing the yogurt smoothie with cow’s milk and just decreasing the amount of smoothie she added to the milk each time.

Sure would love to know how other people have dealt with this issue. If you’ve got an idea, add it to the comments section below!! :)

What I’m Up To Now…

Holy cow!! Great use of visuals to help explain the proposed budget cuts and their actual impact on the overall budget.

You’ll never fold tshirts the same way again!

If you ever wanted to hear someone put a mommy’s day into a song, try this one! (I guarantee you’ll laugh your butt off.)

A little on the political side, but interesting nonetheless…
