How Much Should YOU be Getting Paid?
By Kay on Thu, May 3, 2007
My mom-in-law just sent an article to me and I was fascinated. A group at salary.com has done a survey of working and stay-at-home moms and has come up with a way of calculating what her paycheck would be for the time she’s ‘momming’. What a great way of recognizing all the hard work that a mom does every week for her family!!!
You can check out their article “What is Mom Worth?” and also enjoy creating your own (or another mom’s) paycheck based on the number of kids at home, your zip code, and how many hours per week you fulfill each of 10 different job roles. Seems as though I should be bringing home close to $128,000 for what I do! Wouldn’t that be a nice boost to our meager income stream???
